At ElightNodes, we strive to maintain transparency while protecting our infrastructure from abuse. This Refund Policy outlines when refunds are possible, and the limitations in place to ensure fair treatment for all customers.
By using any ElightNodes service, you agree to this policy in full.
1. Refund Eligibility Overview
Refunds are only available when:
- The service is eligible for refund, and
- You paid using a qualified payment method
Refunds must be requested within the applicable window (either 48 hours or 14 days, depending on the service).

⚠️ KVM VPS refunds must be requested within 48 hours of order. After that, no refund will be issued.

4. Refund Request Process
Refunds must be requested through a ticket to the Sales Department. A cancellation request alone does not initiate a refund.
✅ You must meet all of the following:
- Provide a valid reason for dissatisfaction
- Use a qualifying service and payment method
- Submit the request within the allowed refund window
Refunds are generally processed within 7 business days. Your payment provider may take additional time to reflect the refund.
We may deduct payment processing fees from the refund (e.g., PayPal or Stripe transaction costs).
❌ Examples of Invalid Refund Reasons
Refunds will not be approved for any of the following reasons:
- "I didn't read the Terms of Service or refund policy"
- "I don't need the server anymore"
- "My friend told me to buy this, now I changed my mind"
- "I expected better performance without checking the specs"
- "I only used it for testing"
- "My developer said to cancel it"
- "I found another provider later"
- "I forgot to cancel before renewal"
- "I ordered by mistake"
These reflect buyer's remorse, negligence, or intentional misuse. We do not offer refunds in such cases.
5. Refund Restrictions
- Maximum of 5 refunds allowed per account
- After 5, all refunds incur a 50% processing fee
- Account credit is non-refundable
- Refunds are only sent to the original payment method
- Refunds may be denied in case of:
- Excessive usage
- Fraud or suspicious activity
- Violation of our Terms or AUP
6. Terms of Service Violations
If your service violates any of the following, your refund will be denied:
- Terms of Service
- Acceptable Use Policy
- Defamation Clause (e.g., slandering ElightNodes)
- Cryptocurrency mining without approval
Abuse of CPU resources, spam, DDoS, or any malicious activity voids refund eligibility.
7. Final Notes & Policy Updates
Refunds are a courtesy, not an entitlement. ElightNodes reserves the right to deny any refund at its sole discretion. This policy may be updated at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to stay informed.
